Us
The Reality Treatment Centers (aka/Reality, Inc.) is a private, non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that has served central Maryland since 1973. Our funding comes from a variety of sources including client fees,
charitable contributions and federal and county grants. We also rely on the ongoing support of treatment program alumni and other community members who volunteer their time and energy on our behalf.
Reality takes great pride in the quality of our professional staff, many of whom have been with us for years. Our instructors include registered nurses, health department officials, nutritionists and licensed drug and alcohol counselors. In addition, a certified family counselor runs our family education program and directs our individual and multifamily group counseling sessions. Every Reality staffer follows a strict code of ethics at all times and complies fully with Federal Laws safeguarding client confidentiality.
Reality charges moderate fees for services. All co-payment rates follow guidelines set by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s ability-to-pay scale.
